Tsutenkaku Tower Slider, an interactive attraction, is now open at Tsutenkaku!

Tsutenkaku Tower, which stands in the center of Osaka’s Shinsekai district and is a registered tangible cultural property, has been loved by locals and tourists alike as a symbol of Osaka. Tsutenkaku Tower has been renewed to become the core of Osaka’s liveliness. It has been reborn as a landmark that leads Osaka tourism, with an added attraction element.

The “Tower Slider” is a 60-meter-long slide that takes one and a half turns around the perimeter of the elevator tower from the intermediate observation deck on the third floor to the return entrance on the first basement floor in about 10 seconds. It is also an epoch-making slide that incorporates a quake-absorbing structure. Visitors can enjoy a more exciting view of Tsutenkaku Tower as well as the scenery of Osaka’s Minami district.

In addition, on April 22 (Fri.), 2022, “OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resort” will open in Shinsekai, marking the first time Hoshino Resort has entered Osaka. The atmosphere of the town, which retains the flavor and fun of old Osaka, is expected to change dramatically.
