USJ’s “soaking wet” event is back for the first time in 4 years!
Since 2019, Universal Studios Japan’s summer feature “Soaking wet” event, which will be revived for the first time in four years, will be revived with a power up. In 2023, we will develop content that everyone can get excited about, including “Super Mario Power Up Summer”.
“Super Mario Power Up Summer”, which will be held for the first time, is a water festival that you can enjoy with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Kinopio who jumped out of the popular area “Super Nintendo World”. It is a participatory event that you want to enjoy with all your might with a water shooter in hand.
There was also a surprise performance in which Bowser Jr. burst into the crowd of water gushing out from the stage and everywhere. In the finale, water is fired from various places such as water cannons and clay pipe sprinklers, and you can enjoy “drenching” while bathing in a large amount of water.

“One Piece Premier Summer” is also held
In addition to “Super Mario Power Up Summer”, Universal Studios Japan will also hold “One Piece Premier Summer 2023” and “NO LIMIT! Parade” starting in the spring of 2023.
In the live entertainment show “One Piece Premier Show 2023” of “One Piece Premier Summer 2023”, “Straw Hat Pirates” will join Crocodile, Donquixote Doflamingo, and King to save the three princesses of Vivi, Shirahoshi, and Viola. , and develop an original story that confronts strong enemies such as Fujitora.
“One Piece Premier Show 2023” will have a special production using water, and Luffy and others will come to the audience and resume the greeting. Also, at the time of the 2022 event, a production using towels that caused a frenzy at the venue will also appear, inviting you to the world of “One Piece” with overwhelming quality and scale.
In addition, a food menu and original goods linked to “One Piece Premier Summer 2023” are also available. At the “Straw Hat Pirates Banquet Restaurant”, you can enjoy voluminous food inspired by Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates.
