W Osaka has teamed up with PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS to offer “Tricky Cheeky Halloween” Halloween limited edition dessert courses and sweets at Mixup, an art pastry bar, starting Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
“A Halloween dessert course like “Kappo cuisine
“The mix-up dessert course, where the pastry chef prepares and serves sweets one by one in front of the guests, just like kappo-ryori (Japanese cuisine), is now available in a Halloween version. A total of eight dishes will be prepared on the theme of Halloween’s familiar monsters, incorporating autumnal flavors such as pumpkin, marron, and pear.
You can enjoy a variety of eye-catching Halloween sweets, such as a financier with a trick that wakes up a certain monster when you eat a chocolate with R.I.P. written on it, and a bright red soup that looks like it was made by a witch with mysterious sounds.
A la carte cakes of monsters such as jack-o’-lanterns are also available.
Halloween limited edition sweets that are sold a la carte and can be taken out are also available. The “Frankenstein Cheesecake” has a Japanese flavor with matcha green tea and azuki beans and an adorable expression, the “Pumpkin Puff Pastry” looks like a jack-o-lantern, and the “Ghost Mont Blanc” has a ghostly appearance.
The popular “Rock ‘n’ Roll” cake, a mix-up of rose, raspberry and other ingredients, will also be available in a Halloween version decorated with jack-o-lanterns.
