You can choose the sugar content! There’s a new store specializing in anko sweets at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store!

Eat

As some of you may already know. On December 1 (Wed.), “Anko no Katsu”, a store specializing in Anko sweets, opened on the first basement floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store.

Three kinds of bean jam to choose from

“Anko no KACHI” proposes a new way to enjoy anko as a sweet by collaborating it with Western confectionaries that everyone knows, which used to be associated only with Japanese confectionaries.

The store offers three types of anko: “Tsubuan,” “Koshian,” and “Kawamuki-an”.

Enjoy the difference in sugar content and texture of the anko.

Each Anko has a different sugar content. Those who like sweet red bean paste can choose “tsubuan” with a sugar content of 60 degrees, those who prefer “koshi-an” can choose a sugar content of 52 degrees, and those who just want to enjoy the flavor of red bean paste can choose “Kawamuki-a” with a sugar content of 45 degrees.

In addition to the difference in sugar content, you can also enjoy the different textures of the anko.

Selling cream puffs and puddings

The product lineup includes “AN Shukuri-me” with three layers of red bean paste, custard cream, and fresh cream from Hokkaido, and “AN Purin” filled with red bean paste from Hokkaido.

More Anko x Japanese Sweets on the Way

Other sweets include “AN Taruto,” a pie dough tart filled with bean paste and custard cream and topped with a pudding-flavored cake; “AN Sweet Potato,” a simple combination of bean paste and sweet potatoes; “AN Cookie,” a moist cookie filled with bean paste; “AN Cheese Cake,” a smooth cheese cake with bean paste in the center; and “AN Choko Cake,” a thick chocolate cake with bean paste in the center.
