“The 47th Tsunan Snow Festival & SNOWWAVE2023” will be held in Tsunan, Niigata on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
“Tsunan Snow Festival” to be held for the first time in four years
For the first time in four years, the Tsunan Snow Festival will be held in Tsunan, the area with the heaviest snowfall in Japan. Set in a vast ski resort, there will be a snowboarding straight jump competition called “SNOW WAVE”, as well as snow lanterns and snow lanterns in kamakura. The finale will also see the return of a popular event (*1) where visitors can participate in the fantastic lanterns that fill the night sky.
Contents that can be enjoyed throughout the day are prepared, so it is perfect for making wonderful memories in winter. Several stalls will be set up at the venue, so you can enjoy a “hot” meal in the snow.

*The eve will be held on Friday, March 10th.
(*1) Sky Lantern participants must purchase tickets in advance. All tickets are a set of parking lot and sky lantern. The parking lot is fully reserved, so visitors must purchase a ticket.
