Lotte’s popular ice cream “Yukimi-dakko” has introduced a new product, “Yukimi-dakko Takumi no Mitarashi” supervised by Kikunoi Muzanbou, which went on pre-sale at convenience stores nationwide on October 11, 2022.

Yukimi-dakko Takumi no Mitarashi under the supervision of Kikunoi Muge-Sanbo is an ice cream collaboration with Muge-Sanbo, a café owned by Yoshihiro Murata of Kikunoi, a long-established Japanese restaurant in Kyoto that has been awarded three Michelin stars for 13 consecutive years. The “Mitarashi Sauce” with its rich and deep flavor is wrapped with smooth “vanilla ice cream” and soft “mochi (rice cake)” made of thick rice cake. The ice cream is wrapped in a thick, soft “mochi” rice cake.

Ginger and molasses are the secret ingredient, with a special “mitarashi sauce”.
The “Mitarashi Sauce” is a special sauce with a rich flavor unique to Yoshihiro Murata, a “master of Japanese cuisine”. The use of ginger and molasses as secret flavors adds depth to the flavor. When served with mochi (rice cake), which has a soft “mochi-mochi” texture, you can enjoy a taste similar to that of mitarashi dumplings.
